New Bookcase!!
So I had a little project this week. I am trying to kind of slowly re decorate our stuff because when we first moved in together we really didn't have any furniture so we went out and bought all black things from cheap places like walmart and such, which is fine, but its all so dark and un-inviting to me, so I'm really trying to incorporate one of my favorite colors right now, green, and lots of white and some black. So far I went out and bought this amazing fabric 50% off and cut it and glued it to the back of our black clutter filled bookcase and put some of our great gifts we got from out wedding on it. I am planning on using the same fabric to upholster a head board for our room, using plywood, foam, netting and a staple gun. anyways here's some pictures of the bookcase for you to look at as i look at the bookcase all day long.

hey lexi- i have the same bookcase and want to do the same project. how did you do it?
very cute lex! i dont know if i would have thought to use fabric. i've heard of using poster board/foam board...but fabric is a good idea!
let me know how your head board goes. tanner and i have been talking about making our own since we got married but here we are...over two years later...still with no head board : )
oh I noticed how cute it was when we were over!! i forgot to say something.
