We just watched I Am Number Four. It was... how do you say... Not good. Which got me thinking.... I am so sick of bad movies. They have like a what 50 million plus dollar budget, lots of crew members, months and months of writing, editing, acting etc and...thats what you send out to the world? I'm not just singling out I am number four. There are plenty of dumb movies out there. I saw some of Jar Head on tv the other day ( technically I'm not even sure if I'm aloud to not like movies about war because I do love my country, and Jake Gyllenhall but come on) I could list some more but my brain is busy trying to forget I am number four. I should add that if you liked I am number four please do not take offensive from this post...even though I like to think of myself educated and at times "with it" I also like to entertain myself with such choice programs such as The Bachlorette, Teen Mom and although I try to resist Jerseylicious, so don't feel too bad.

I would like to add that I saw The Help last week and that was excellent. See I'm not totally pessimistic

I finally found the camera cord! So I have all these pictures I need to update with! Starting with a craft project I did a couple of weeks ago. My desk chair that I inherited from Brad was a little dated and a bit of an eye sore in our family room so I covered it with some fabric I picked up from the fabric store...all you need is fabric scissors and a whole bunch of hot glue.

I have been trying to get into the coupon game for a while now. I've done alright but not as good as I want. It all started when I got Zoo Zoo's mattress. I researched and found s couple fo coupons for it and I took it from full prince 150 and after the coupons purchased it for around 46! I just remember when the clerk scanned the total down I seriously felt such a rush. After that I really just wanted to get into it. So last night I watched a couponing show that I cant think of the name right now on TLC and it like electrified me. They were getting things for free! Its not even a money thing (although who doesn't love saving money) It's a game. How much can I save and how much can I get. But I still don't really GET IT!!! Its frustrating because I know theres a crazy coupon lady inside of me just waiting to be released. I can just see my self with a binder full of savings a fanny pack with emergency back up coupons, a camel-back water back pack and a calculator watch. I just need to figure it out how to get those amazing check outs. So if anyone has some knowledge in this area, please help a crazy out!

Little Update!

We went to Mexico earlier this month for a fun family vacation with Brads side. It was during his spring break from school so it was much much needed. It was my first time traveling with Zoë so naturally I was very nervous but she did awesome! I don't know what it was about that place but that girl could sleep!! She loves her sleep here but he like really loved it there! It makes me a little less nervous to travel with her when I go to California next month...by my self... It was so nice to spend some time with Brad's family who I love! It was beautiful there and it was so nice to be back in the ocean again. I've been away from it for so long that I forget how much I really just love the beach. Zoë not so much....we tried to put her little feets in the water and she lost it...oh well. We also had a fun day of jet skiing and snorkeling. That was fun. It was also my first time leaving Zoë for more then a little bit. Luckily my mother-in-law was willing to watch her and she slept most the time. I missed her though. Speaking of my lovie she was blessed while we were in Mexico! It was so amazing! Brad has a lot of brothers and a brother in law so it was so fun to see her encircled by all of them as Brad blessed her. He did such an amazing job. She is so lucky to have him as her father. She did really good for most of the blessing but cried a little in the end. She looked so beautiful! I jut couldn't believe that I was the one with the baby getting blessed. New Bedding!!

I have wanted new bedding for so long now! When we got married I bought this cute white duvet cover and I liked it but I have been craving something more colorful and homey...Finally I found some bedding that I loved! Bonus it was right after my birthday so I had some birthday money to spend as well! What do you think?

I gave my lesson on sunday on David A. Bednars' talk "Receive the Holy Ghost". This part really hit me.

At least it makes me want to...

Zoë got her 2 month shots today. The top pictures are sweet Z baby this morning when she was just happy as a lark....so young....so innocent...so trusting...she had no idea what was headed her way. As you can see in the pictures on the bottom (which could basically be part of a rated R horror flick) she was not happy, and slightly out of it on the car ride home. She has been sleeping the rest of the day so I think she'll survive...I don't know if i can say the same about me...I think I'll be fighting off nightmares of elephant sized needles breaking my perfect little baby's perfect little chubby perfect thigh skin. The only good part was when I was able to pick Zoseph up from the torture table and cuddle her until she calmed down, which she did shortly thereafter. In that moment I realized, I am the one that comforts her. She calms down while being in my arms. I can do that better then anyone. I really felt like a mom for the first time. Now, I might not be able to program electronics, reach anything over 5'6", bake a perfect pie or get through a book over 200 pages; but I can comfort my baby and I'd rather be a pro at that then anything else*. Boy o boy, do I love my little jelly bean.

*maybe with the exception of being a pro at making money....but it would have to be mucho mucho bucks, like Oprah Winfrey dough.

I'm planning my lesson for church tomorrow and I had a little hankering for something sweet....Well the problem is I got rid of anything sweet once Zoë turned 6 weeks and I started working out. And then I remembered. I have a Costco size bag of chocolate chips in the pantry that I forgot about in my anti-sugar rampage. I have now gone back into the pantry for my 4th "this is the last" handful of chocolate chips. I was about to throw the whole darn bag away, but what a waste.... And I am only having a small little tiny handful every 15 minutes So what's the harm? At least I have learned that a Costco size bag of chocolate chips although economical is nothing but a brightly colored bag of regrets sealed up by Satan himself and learning is never a bad thing.

One of the ways to make a pregnancy go by faster is planning a nursery in my opionon. I had a lot of fun putting together Zoë's room and still have a bit of work to do. I thought I should share some pictures of it so if you ever happen to be wondering "I wonder what Lexi is doing right now?" at 3 in the morning you can now have a better visual. Because that is what I am doing. Sitting in that chair. Feeding my hungary hungary hippo. And playing on my i-pod to pass the time. (It's ok to call her a hippo because she's a baby right?)

First off the crib.....can someone please explain to me why it is so difficult to find baby bedding that isnt covered in cartoon butterflys and the word princess or diva all over it? Luckily I found this bedding on target.com and it worked perfectly for our shabby chic theme. I wanted something feminie but not too over the top. I think it turned out nicely and feels very calming to me even at 3-6 in the AM.

A Month Of Zoë

I seriously can not believe Zoë is already a month old! She has already changed so much and although its exciting to see all the advancements and changes I can't help but think slow down little lady! I feel like I want to take time every month and write down some things about Zoë so that I wont forget each and every cute stage.

At one month old, Zoë is: 9lbs 6oz. She is in the 75% for height and weight (go baby go!) and she is in the 25% for her teeny head. This I thought was weird because she seems to have a big head to me but nevertheless I am grateful for that teeny head for obvious reasons. Zoë love to snuggle. She will instantly be calm just by being held especially when her head is by your heart or neck. She is the cutest at stretching I'll try and get a picture of it someday but she sticks her little bum out and balls up her fists and makes the cutest little pursed lips. She is great at smiling only shes camera shy because the smile is quick to leave once we have the camera out. She also just started to smile while she nurses, which is cute and weird. She loves looking at her Dad. Which sort of bugs her Mom because he always wins in a "look at me competition. I think its the beard, she finds it fascinating. She also loves it when he burps her. She is almost out of newborn sizes :(. She has slept threw the night a few times but mostly only wakes up once in the middle and then again around 7 in the morning. She just started making these pretty weird grunting noises which is totally contradictory to her constantly crossed ankles. Shes not a huge fan of being swaddled and she sometime sleeps with her eyes a little bit open....She loves dancing with mom and also when mom sings to her, (ironically not nursery songs but pop songs that I will change the words to such as the always good oddly superfly: Come to me baby, come come to me baby, your my sweetie pie, sugar, Zoë. Unfortunately I've got a million of these) She loves her thumb. She hates it when she falls asleep while mom is rocking her and then mom sneezes and wakes her up even though mom really really tries to hold it. She loves to skype with her family and can't wait to meet all of them. She hates being naked, as soon as you take off her closes she acts as if she just jumped out of a plane, arms and legs sprawled. Zoë is such a sweet baby. We have yet to hear her really really cry, she does however make the cutest little pouty face ever that just breaks our hearts. she is so sweet and we love her very much. Zoë, thank you for choosing our family to come to. I am so proud to be your mama. Oh and I should mention, your Dad is pretty much obsessed with you.

I've had a baby. It happened rather recently actually. Dec. 31 2010 at 3:16 pm to be exact. We named her Zoë. She's now apart of the ever exclusive Lexi and Brad club, which is just really impossible to break into but with a face like that we couldn't resist.

Here's how it happened:

It was April, and I was in love. His name was Bradley Wallis. He was as handsome as they come. Ironically he loved me back and sometimes when two people are in love and they are married they hug each other real tight and.....wait...sorry maybe thats going back too far. Let's just fast forward to 40 weeks later and get to the really interesting stuff. My mom was in town in anticipation of the babes' approaching arrival. Unfortunately at my appointment two days before my due date they seemed rather positive I would need to start picking the date of my induction because the baby was more then likely going to come well after my due date. I cried. I was big. I was tired. I wanted my baby without waiting and inducing. But we tried to make the best of it and that day took some maternity pictures:

So that took up some of our time and I'm really glad we got that in. That was on Tuesday. On Thursday we started out running errands and we even went to lunch. I split a veggie burger and bottomless fries with my madre (a highly recommended last meal) and had been experiencing random contractions all threw out the day. Around 7:30 I was in a lot of pain. I tried taking a shower hoping the hot water would help but no dice. We started timing my contractions and they were about 5 minutes apart. Brad said "Lexi, I think we should go to the hospital right now" I responded "Why yes dear, I think we should go too, I dont want to stress you out because my contractions are getting closer and closer" Well thats a lie. Thats what Brad wishes I would have said. In fact I said " Are you crazy? I just took a shower and my hair is naturally frizzy, curly, and if you think im having a baby and taking pictures looking like the long lost sister of Doc from Back to the Future you've got another thing coming" I am not proud of this, but i have no regrets. As I continued to do my hair by contractions became 3 minutes apart (its very frizzy) so I decided to put Brad out of his misery and go. Once at the hospital we were put in the triage room to make sure i was in fact in labor. I guess they dont trust you anymore when you tell them you feel like your insides are being ripped to shreds by a hungry rabee infested bull dog. Really they just didnt have a room for me. New Year party at the hospital! After 6 hours of this:

I finally got into a room!! What happened 10 minutes after I got into my room you ask? My water broke! Now that was crazy! The contractions got much much worse after that but luckily the man of the hour Dr. Feel Good as I like to call him came and did just that. Made me feel good. Or at least stop feeling, which works for me! I just want to take a second to say, I love epidurals. To each her own but for me it was awesome. I tried talking Brad into doing anesthesiology just so I can be around them more.

Anyways...After that everything seemed like a breeze until i started feeling contractions on my left side and absolutely nothing on my right ( they think my needle had moved and thats why) dont worry Dr. Feel Good you still can do no wrong in my eyes. So instead of having him come back and fix it they told me to push and 45 minutes later we were listening to the cutest little cry I've ever heard. Zoë Jo Wallis was here. Our lives are forever changed. They are better. We are a little family now. And we couldn't be happier. Well once breast feeding stops hurting, then I couldn't be happier. The Complexities of My Mind

This is what I'm struggling with lately. I am looking at all these fall fashion catalogs and loving all the amazing fashion. Then I think "Ok great....So I need all these things" but that is soon followed with " I need more money for these things." So then I try and think of ways to make more money so that I can justify buying a Michaeal Korrs trench coat. A couple inventions run threw my head ( but I don't know how to fuse anything so that sucks) Then I think of ideas for websites that I can start and then sell for millions, but every-time I bring the idea up with Brad he tells me its already been done (darn you M.I.T geeks.) The best was when I thought " OH MY GOSH! i've got it! a website where you can just put your stuff on sale in your neighborhood..like an on-line garage sale!" Brad was quick to end that pipe dream with "Craigslist sweetie...craigslist." So finally I come to the conclusion that the only way I can have more money is to not spend the little money I have. Which is perplexing because how on earth am I suppose to look so cute in my new Micheal Korrs trench coat if I don't spend any money.......These are things I ponder sometimes.

Just got these the other day with a gift card I had from Gap. I figured she'll need something to keep her warm when coming home from the hospital in the middle of winter! Also I love pigs. And hopefully she'll be nice and chubby so she'll fit the look. You can't see it but there's a little squiggily tail on the back of the hat and the little booties. I'm in love.

We are very excited to announce that we are expecting!

Time flys when your having fun! I can't believe I neglected my little bloggie for so long! I am so deeply ashamed......BUT I am going to give you all an update on whats been up in the Wallis house so hopefully you will forgive me. First I went to Canada. For the Olympics. With my family. In Vancouver. Everyone was there. It was AMAZING. Also a little cold. I came from Ohio though, so not that cold. And I loved it. NEXT. My man and I went on a cruise. To the Bahamas. It was warm. There were about 293923829 spring breakers there as well. We still had the time of our lives. I am trying to put video and pictures up and it wont let me so I will have to have the brains of this operation help me when he gets out of school. There really is just so much that goes on in our little world and I need to record more of it before it all becomes a blurry memory. I will be better. I will be better. I will be better. The end.

p.s: I am sorry if there are not two spaces after each period and before each new sentence. It is something Brad has me working on and I am trying.

I'm bad. Well I was bad. Well I wrote an e-mail that was bad. I basically told someone they were going to eternal darkness, which if your religious is the worse thing you can say to someone (especially if you mean it). I think what's even worse is that I don't even feel bad. Let me explain.

Brad and I live in a hole. Ok it's a little more than a hole, I mean it does have a front door. Let's just say if someone wanted a really sweet walk-in closet, our house would be perfect. ANYWAY, we have decided to move. The nice (aka "livable") apartment complexes around town are too expensive and the cheaper ones are old and crawling with 60 years of sex, drugs and rock-and-roll. We have decided to do what any smart, capable young couple would do in our situation. Find another poor, out-of-luck bunch of sucker who is having

trouble trying to sell a house and offer to rent it for dirt cheap. We're just really giving like that. Anyways, I've been spending my free time on craigslist as of late and have been watching which houses can't sell. I saw this one ad for a GINORMOUS, beautiful home for rent for our perfect price range. Although part of me felt fishy about it I decided to shoot them an e-mail. I got this in return (feel free to scan, although the poor english is just truly great).

leave the keys behind with so that is why I posted ad myself. If you notice, you will discover

that the price we are offering is far below standard price and I this is enough for you to know

that we are not after the rental

fee but the absolute care for the property. I know there is no way I can be sure that you are the right person to live in the

house because we won't be able

to see physical before sending you the keys and the

documents to occupy the space. The house is available for as long as you want and if you drive by the house you may

see a sign there, you

have nothing to worry about it belongs to my previous agent so you have absolutely nothing

to worry about and you don't have to call them because they do not have access to the house anymore.

Please if you are ready now to occupy the house kindly provide the information belo

Then he asked for more info,

like name and if you have any pets. OK so this is where I look dumb but whatever, I've done worse. I emailed him back

saying he should just stop looking because we were basically a god-given package and all he needed to do was

sign on the dotted line.

He then told me I need to wire him the first month's rent and

then he would send the keys. Luckily, before this email I had googled his name and number and found out that this was an over-seas scam that has been going on for over a year. You send the money and then you never hear from him again. I was beyond bugged! How dare he scam me! Not to mention that in two of his emails he had mentioned God to me as some sort of password and the answer was God loves his children. Weird! I was about to give up but instead I asked him where I should send the money. After receiving his full name and address I sent this. And yes, I sent it in red:

I can't believe you would even mention God when scamming hard working people for money. That sort of behavior is the

opposite of God. I am sending your information to the American police who have requested it and you will be

charged to the fullest extent of the law. If nothing else God will handle your judgement of scamming money from his

children when you die. I hope you enjoy jail. Or hell. Whichever comes first. p.s Nice english.

And I don't even feel bad.

I bought new glasses for 3 dollars. I don't need them. I have 20/20. Brad hates them. Even though I told him everyone is doing it. I feel like I know more when I wear them so I wear them my whole 25 minute drive to work and then I take them off before going inside. I try.

You know those mornings where you just think to your self, "yeah this is going to be a great day". But then there's also those morning where you think "Kill me, kill me now" Lately I've been having mornings like the later. I feel like its just a snowball effect. and then round 6 p.m you think, that's it I'm going to bed, only to find out its 6 pm and that's just depressing to go to bed before the sun.

To give you an example of what the heck I'm talking about let me map out just one of my recent days. I should have known it was going to be a trying day. Those days always began with waking up from a really great dream. Now I can't remember exactly was I was doing in this dream but I do remember it was sunny, and my hair was somewhere between Catharine zeta jones and the little mermaid. It was a good one. Two nights ago I could not get my feet warm while I was trying to sleep. So I took out my heating pad and wrapped it around my feet then fell asleep. Well when I woke up that precious little heating pad had moved it's way up to my head. Needless to say I woke up in a pool of sweat. Awesome. The best part was I had just straightened my unruly curly hair the day before and now half of it was doing an impression of Carrot Top. After I dealt with all that I went down stairs to make something for breakfast. I made the mistake of opening the fridge. A lovely jar of mayonnaise fell out of the side door and of course broke. There was mayonnaise on my feet, all over the floor, the fridge, the table (we have a small kitchen) and all I could do was just stare. As I watched my worst nightmare of smelly gooey sickness start spreading to all the dark places like under the fridge I seriously contemplated packing up all our things and moving before even beginning to clean that crud up. It was just one of those messes where you wish you could tap out and let someone else handle it. The snowball has begun. No hot water for my shower next. Poked my self in the eye with eyeliner, which turned out pretty bad seeing how I left the house looking like one eyed winkey. Reached in my new purse to get my keys to find some lotion had exploded. Cut my hand at work. The list goes on and on. When I got home I was not a happy camper. I had a great idea though. I was going to clear some space, turn on some music and just dance like in Greys Anatomy. It wasn't all that bad, I started dancing and thought "hey this is working! i feel better!" That's right about the time where I got a little too into it and decided to hoist my self up on brad swivel work chair. It never really occurred to me that those kind of chairs are not meant for a healthy dancing girl, after one spin, that thing flung me off, head first into brads stereo. I wish I could say it was a soft landing. I'm sure I resembled at that moment a crate of mannequin parts being shipped off. Limbs every which way. The end result was an unharmed stereo and a few bruises on me. I got into bed that night I felt the heating pad. I ripped that sucker up and threw it out.

Brad and I just watched the last episode of the tonight show with Conan O'brien. I cried. I felt dumb but then I realized that oh hey I'm crying! I never cry. So to be honest I kind of felt relieved seeing how I was worried about my stone cold heart. Maybe it's a little off that I decided to make my soft and squishy emotions debut on a late night talk show but hey that's the kind of girl I am. I have always been a fan of Conan O'brien, for as long as I can remember. He truly is the last face I see before I shut my eyes at night. I guess I should add that I love my husbands face more right now. But I really do watch his show every night on hulu (my fav) before I go to sleep. It's an end of an era. So if you cried as well, don't feel embarrassed. Don't feel ashamed. Don't feel badly that you didn't even have one little tear shed on your own wedding day and had to hand your new husband your handkerchief that your mother made you in case you cried and you even bought expensive waterproof mascara because surely you'd be a mess and you needed to take pictures but oh wait you have a stone cold iron-plated heart so you remained untouched even though you tried to think of something really sad so that people wouldn't think you were weird and not "feeling" the moment. No no, you save the good stuff for cancellations of late night talk shows. It's totally normal. For the record I was "feeling" it. Just not as much as when CoCo said good-bye I guess. Whoops.

p.s: yesterday I made the best cd mix of all time. seriously it's epic I even may have teared up while playing it. Just don't tell Brad. I am thinking I want to do my first blog give-away! I'm probably not losing any weight doing this and going to the gym is pointless but I don't care I love it. Which brings me to my next point, I think that I was born in the wrong era/country. I believe I am a sun-kissed, 1940's, french woman masking as an albino, 2010 girl living in Ohio. Why? I don't know, but I'll just keep playing this role until I figure it all out and can finally unveil the true me. I'll start planning the party now. I already have the menu (see pictures above). On another random note, I'm not sure if I should do this or not but I feel like I need to publicly claim and document this as evidence. I figured out the name I am going to give one of my daughters (no my eggo is not prego)....... get excited...... June Wallis.... Little June bug... Junie Bee..... the list goes on and on. I have a confession to make. I need to be freed from this false identity i have been portraying. Get ready. My heart is beating as I type. It's confession time.

I Love Wal-mart.

Phew. That feels good to finally say it! I no longer have to quickly make excuses if ever caught shopping at wal-mart like " oh my normal fancy grocery store was closed today because they had to polish their marble floors, so I had to come to this disgusting place, can you believe it?, ugh!" . I no longer have to join in the discussions of the grossness of my hidden love. Because here's the thing people. You just can't get a better deal. Where else can you buy fabric, fruit, cotton balls and window washing fluid under 10 bucks. Where? Where else can you go to the bank, get your nails done, pick up some milk, park your RV for a week at a time, drop off your dry cleaning, get your hair corn-rowed, eat a subway sandwich and rent a redbox dvd all under one roof?

Sure you have to deal with check out clerks that act as if you took them on a date and then never called. Sure you are surrounded by the smell of hygiene strikes and tobacco. And okay occasionally you'll pick up a box a cereal that is curiously covered in some unknown sticky substance. Ok, you'll probably run into the special feature from America's most wanted last night. And yes you probably will awkwardly witness a moment between shameless mother and naughty child that should really be saved for home. And okay while we're being honest the walk from your car to the door is a human version of frogger. But I don't care. Because between the cheap deals, unbeatable people watching and "friendly" fun looking greeters, wal-mart is the best.

:run 5 miles without stopping (probabily the hardest one on this list)

and the list goes on and on! But so far I'm doing good. My little honey bunches of oats (sorry brad) got me a wonderful gift for chirstmas this year. It looks like this:

So i had a funny moment where my self esteem was maybe a little too high. I was at blockbuster and when I was checking out the dvd the guy at the counter asked me for my phone number. I just stared at him thinking " are you serious, can you not see the ring on my finger." as if I was some big hot shot who just hated to be bothered by boys. I then went into my whole, um, i dont think my husband would like that with the flash of the ring, while making the face of "you poor little cutie, I am just ruining your day by not being available aren't I you silly little bub!" or something like this:

Well, he then looks at me with a face of puzzelment while he says " um, actually its just for our system, its nothing personal"....

The other pictures ( sorry they are all scatterd) are from this park right next to our house. It is so beautiful here right now and I LOVE this park. There are deer roaming everywhere are they are not scared of you. I even have to back away sometimes as I try to creep closer to them to take their pictures since they dont move or run from me.

The Curse of the Spray on Tan

This really is just the worst. I don't know why I don't post more on this here little blog because I have the most random life where the most random things happen to me. I hope its not karma because I swear I am a good person, for the most part. So I just think this is so funny and should be shared. SO it all started about two weeks ago. I was leaving for California for my aunts wedding and I decided to get a spray on tan, I was realllly white. I have gotten many spray on tan's before so no big deal. First of all I had no idea that this was one where someone actually sprays you not the kind where your all alone in a booth, so when she told me to undress and leave my under ware on, I'm thinking that maybe my "special under ware" wont leave the cutest tan lines. So that was round one. luckily they had disposable undergarments for such an occasion. round two. I usually get a spray on tan before I go to bed and then in the morning I shower and its perfecto. Well I had no time so I had to do it in the morning. Well apparently spray on tans just keep on getting darker so when I landed in California 12 hours later, I was somewhere in between an Indian women and a umpa lumpa. But no worries after a few showers I was gloriously tanarexic for the wedding.

p.s: I WILL ware a black undershirt next time

Well now here I am two weeks later with this!

Trust me it is a lot worse in person then these pictures can even begin to describe. I actually had someone at work yesterday ask me if i had some skin disease!! Perfect! um yeah its called freakinspraytanisum! It looks a lot worse under my shirt too don't worry. I have tried everything to even it out and nothing has worked! lets just hope it fades soon i am tired of looking like a block of colby jack cheese!

So i just finished my third day of p90x (its a struggle even using my fingers to write this right now, to give you an idea of how i feel) It really is one of the most hard core work outs I've ever done. But I have already lost one pound so hopefully that'll just continue to happen until i reach my goal. I am just really trying not to get bulky, i want more Kelly ripa muscle tone, only with more weight, since she ways 70 pounds. I have some pictures and videos I'll hopefully post today. Brad and I are documenting our p90x journey and its pretty hilarious. But it'll be fun to compare in the end. Also I just walked around the upstairs today snapping my fingers at all the messes hoping they would clean them self's up like in Mary Poppins. Nothing happened. I guess i'll have to do it the old fashion way. Boo.

Ok I really tried to put this in the last post but it wouldn't work. Sometimes I just don't get you blogger. ANYWAYS, so this is new and kinda exciting, I guess. Brad and I have decided to....hold on I cant help my self, how many of you are reading this right now and think I'm going to announce we're going to try for a baby. I'm sure someone did, I need to stop starting things off with, Guess what?! or I have some exciting news! because I just end up making whatever I end up saying not fun or exciting since its doesn't compare to having a baby. If that even makes sense. But I'm just saying its not a baby. OK back to it. Brad and I are going to start P90X! If you don't know what the heck that is its a work out program that is harrrrrrd coooorreee. But it'll be awesome. Its for people who don't need to drop a ton of weight but just want to get toned up. Perfect. I just need to drop the last 10 pounds to hit my goal weight. We are doing a fitness testing tomorrow and take before and after pictures. sick. maybe I'll post them. and then take pictures every 30 days. Till we hit the end in 90 days! We have our whole diet plan ready and stored in the kitchen. And before you think "wow she's crazy into this." I just finished a bowl of ice cream. and no it was not sugar free. But I am still so excited! Is it bad to say I hope my body looks like Carmen Electra's? cuz I do...just not so porny...also brad is hoping for Hugh Jackman. not to shabbby.... although for the record, I think he's sexy just the way he is.

We went to Ann Arbor, MI because I had a doctor's appointment there and we decided to make a day of it. This picture above is random, but the car we parked next to did such a crappy job and I was worried they would hit our car when they left so I documented it just in case.

This little guy is our little friend named Chester, we think he is a gofer, but we have no idea. He is huge though, and fast.

While in Ann Arbor we met up with a good friend Janice and she showed us around. This guy up here is always dancing to Micheal Jackson. In this hall. Random. But i love it. I was too scared to get an up close picture so sorry it's from far away, I'm weak.

So this ally is famous for all its graffiti and gum. It is so awesome I think.

Random pictures I took of my self after I put my new extensions in. I wish I could just have naturally long hair, especially since I've been growing it out for about 6 years now but whatever. I'm not bitter.

My bangs do seem to grow fast though.

Pleasantly surprised by this, a beach in Toledo!

So I use to think that frozen meal's were sick and so bad for you but guess what? These little boxes of gold are usually well under 300 calories each. They taste amazing (keep in mind taco bell is my favorite Mexican place so im easily impressed) But i realllly think they are soooo good...they are so easy to make, have no preservatives AND no trans fat. Oh yeah did i mention they are like 1.80 SOoooooo when i;m at the salon all day these are like so good and i love them. What I should really do is take a picture of my freezer because it is full of them. My favorite right now by the way is butternut squash ravioli with veggies.

I just got back from a morning run, and i hate running, and it usually doesn't last that long but today i had a new song to listen to: Fire Burning by sean kingston, and i ran harder and longer then i have in a long time. I don't know what it is about that song but it really really gets my feet moving, actually my whole body since i was running/dancing, i probably looked like an idiot but i couldn't help it! On a similar note i feel like I'm at such a stand still with my weight loss right now and its kind of frustrating. My trainer says its normal bc i have been doing so much weight training lately and since muscles weighs more then fat, I'm not losing any pounds but inch's. i feel like the last couple of pounds are the hardest. But the funny thing is when i first started to really work out i just wanted to lose weight and get to my goal weight but now i am getting really into it and part of me just wants to get ripped. especially when i am doing hair and my arms are up hair and i can see my biceps moving in the mirror. love that. also my new goal is to open a yoga/pilates studio with my bf Kialee http://polished-zeal.blogspot.com/( check out her blog, im obsessed) p.s: I know this is the weirdest picture but they are about to turn my power off so i had to just pick one.

New Bookcase!!

So I had a little project this week. I am trying to kind of slowly re decorate our stuff because when we first moved in together we really didn't have any furniture so we went out and bought all black things from cheap places like walmart and such, which is fine, but its all so dark and un-inviting to me, so I'm really trying to incorporate one of my favorite colors right now, green, and lots of white and some black. So far I went out and bought this amazing fabric 50% off and cut it and glued it to the back of our black clutter filled bookcase and put some of our great gifts we got from out wedding on it. I am planning on using the same fabric to upholster a head board for our room, using plywood, foam, netting and a staple gun. anyways here's some pictures of the bookcase for you to look at as i look at the bookcase all day long.

I need a lighter hue of hair for spring and summer time. I don't know what it is but whenever the weather starts to warm up i just get this itch it lighten it up! So i really don't think I will ever go back as blonde as i was about a year ago but I am thinking something more along the lines of this:

Yah for losing weight!

So i am finally losing weight...which is a little annoying since it has been happening after i got married and it would have been nice if it happened when i got married..but what can ya do....anyways i stepped on the scale at the gym last night and i am officially 128!! I'm so excited even though that's not my goal weight it feels great to be in the 120's club! hopefully it'll be no time till i hit the 120 mark! I have been exercising a lot but I really think what i eat has made the biggest difference for me! I have sort of a daily routine of what i eat and it seems to be working really great! ill have to post before and after shots because it is fun

I am just obsessed with Sondre Lerche. He wrote all the songs for Dan in real life one of my favorite movies and I just love his music. Brad and I decided that if he doesn't get into medical school this year we are going to sell everything we own and go backpacking across the world for a couple of years, and if my i-pod doesn't sell, Sondre Lerche will be what i will listen too amongst our travels.

I am 21. Thats weird. Actually i feel younger not older, for some reason but it was such a fun birthday. Brad got me some really sweet gifts. My favorite being these adorable shoes that i have wanted months ago and its so sweet he rememeberd!

We had so much fun on Halloween. We dressed up as nerds... we met up with Camri and Tracy and went to cafe Rio and then we to a haunted forest,,, which was scary,,especially during this meat packing room where these creepy guys were asking us if we were hungry, to which i yelled im a vegetarian and ran out of what can only be described as my biggest nightmare.

sooooo the ice cream was gross...you'd think brad and i would stop eating it but no...we finished our bowls the whole time talking about what we could have possiably done wrong to create such crap...just chomping away, im sure this is defined somewhere under an overweight eating disorder...then we both felt really sick and crawled into bed for the night....probabily not going to try icecream making agian until i can find a gas mask on e-bay (sorry brad)

What am i doing right now? Well, blogging, watching Friends with Brad, and waiting for our ice-cream maker to finish making our peanut butter ice cream! We are having so much fun with all our wedding gifts, earlier tonight we went to the human bodies exhibit downtown which was amazing and kinda gross, but still cool. They had all these different stages of baby feteses ( how the heck is that spelled) and it was so crazy how tiny those little babies are and even that small they already have developed a heart and eyes! I like thinking that even though i may not know a lot about science and i might know more about what's happening with Pam and Jim right now then the current election, i am capable of making the most intricate amazing thing in the universe! i love it! anyways the ice creams done, and as much as i want to continue....its peanut butter...ice cream...so......

So I've been thinking of starting a new blog that is seperate from brad and my ever so exciting and updating blog. It will be about hair and every couple of weeks i will post new and upcoming hair ideas, tips and porduct, but also mainly after time answering questions and giving out hair help. Also i'm starting a traviling hair business on the side where i will come to anyones home to do hair! so there'll be a place to set up appointments on there as well Im not quite sure what to call it yet,, so if anyone has ideas let me know. It'll more then likely have other things on it too that Brad dosent want on our blog like clothes and recipes that i like. so yeah im going to be working on that the next couple of days.

So i haven't seen brad in 2 days! actually as i write this i realize how ridiculous this is but it feels like an eternity! luckily he comes back to California on Saturday so all is not lost.
